Humility in Action: Here’s Why It’s Important

Sincerely Yours #179

It’s been said that to be humble is “to be so sure of yourself and your mission, that you can forgo calling excessive attention to yourself and your status.” The story of Thurman Thomas and Emmitt Smith at 28th Annual Super Bowl is wonderful example of the importance of humility. Today’s Reading:

“But among you, those who are the greatest should take the lowest rank, and the leader should be like a servant.” – Luke 22:26
