Christmas Evans was a nonconformist minister regarded as one of the greatest preachers in the history of Wales. As a boy, he ran with rough gangs, fighting, drinking, and putting his life at risk. After he gave his life to Christ, his old gang attacked him, gouging out his right eye. Christmas was undaunted.
