Hugs From Heaven #320
Known as a religious and social reformer, the famous Count Nikolaus Ludwig von Zinzendorf was the bishop of the Moravian Church and founder of the Herrnhuter Brüdergemeine. In 1722, Zinzendorf offered an asylum to a number of persecuted Christian refugees, but that’s not the only reason he is a Hug From Heaven. He also wrote one of my favorite hymns.
