Our reading today is all about the undisputed power of God. A power that can even break the chains of death. A power that can totally transform our lives, if we let it. It reminds me of the little 4-year-old boy who was just learning to recite “The Lord’s Prayer.” Although he got the words wrong, this little guy discovered a profound truth. One that each of us would do well to remember.

“So they rolled the stone aside… Then Jesus shouted, ‘Lazarus, come out!’ And Lazarus came out, bound in grave clothes, his face wrapped in a head cloth. Jesus told them, ‘Unwrap him and let him go!’” – John 11:41a, 43
