Today’s passage covers a most miraculous event, commonly known as “The Transfiguration.” As miraculous as the event was, the verse I want to focus on today actually occurs after it. Matthew 17:8 tells us, “And when they lifted up their eyes, they saw no one but Jesus only”. This verse came alive to me a few years ago, when our oldest son was just four years old.
