Of the four gospel accounts of the life and ministry of Jesus, John’s has always been my favorite, and this particular passage is one of the reasons why. John is the only Gospel writer to record this most tender and revealing encounter with Jesus and His disciples… one that involves a mighty King, a servant’s basin, and an event that will forever bond the two.
