Excuses Aren’t Always What They Seem

Have you ever messed up and then tried to explain yourself?  It seems all you could come up with were “excuses.”  What about when you’re asked for an explanation, and then when you give one, it just doesn’t make sense? Of course, excuses aren’t always what they seem. What may sound right to us may make absolutely no sense to someone else.  And that’s exactly what happened in our reading for today.

Today’s Reading:

“… to those who use well what they are given, even more will be given. But from those who are unfaithful, even what little they have will be taken away.” – Luke 19:26
