How many of us could honestly say that we are filled with the fragrance of our worship to God… and that to linger in His Presence is our “everlasting preoccupation?” Maybe it would do us good to take a page from Martha, Mary, and Lazarus. As we begin reading the 12th chapter of John, we discover that it is now six days before the beginning of the Passover ceremonies. Let’s take a moment and allow the disciple John, an eyewitness to the events that follow, to usher us in and set the stage for the evening.
