Matthew chapter 23 marks the beginning of three pretty spellbinding chapters. And these chapters are directed at one particular theme: pride. Specifically the pride of the religious leaders. But they are also about humility and focusing on the needs of others. That’s not an easy lesson to learn, especially for my two sons. Let me tell you about it and how it relates to Jesus’ own words.
