It’s funny how certain moments in life stay with you forever. Serious moments, inspiring moments. For me, one of the sweetest of those moments was the last day I saw my Dad alive, his battle with cancer ending at sunrise the next morning. But there was one particular moment during the day that gave hope in the promise that this end… was just the beginning. A beginning that finds its roots in today’s reading.
