Children can have a sensitivity to God that the rest of us might tend to overlook. I know this in my heart because I’ve seen it with my own eyes. But is there evidence for it in the Bible? Of course! Our reading today covers some very important events in the journey of Jesus. He had fulfilled prophecy once more by triumphantly entering Jerusalem on the back of a donkey. We find this prophecy in Zechariah chapter 9 verse 9. He was ushered in as the Son of David – the One to come in God’s name. And after giving the Temple a much-needed cleaning, Jesus did many miracles. As He did, something very interesting took place.
