Between The Grooves #7
Have you ever been to Nashville? Well, there’s a reason they call it Music City, U.S.A. and a ton of musicians relocate there to pursue their careers. One of them is Luke Smallbone from for KING & COUNTRY, one of the biggest acts going in Christian music, who joins us on the podcast this week. He tells us about moving from Australia to North America, working with his sister, then recording and touring with his brother, and now balancing his concert schedule with family time.
Luke talks about:
- growing up in a musical family
- being in a band with his brother Joel
- time management when you enjoy your work
- how selfies are the new autograph
- not getting your life value through social media
“I have made countless mistakes over launching, ya know, this career. In working way too much, being gone too long, and so forth and so on. I’m not really willing to do that anymore, but it’s still hard. I like to work. I like to do what I do.”
