Dealing with Distractions with “The DIY Mommy” Christina Dennis

The DIY Mommy started as a place where she could share fun baby crafts when her first daughter was 6 months old. TheDIYMommy.com launched in June of 2009 – with a collection of crafts for not only babies but for moms and homes too. She loves sewing, decorating, sleeping, making cookies, singing, playing piano, playing with her girls, and messing around on her computer. She is this week’s guest Christina Dennis.

What we talk about:

  • Growing Up
  • Finding Yourself
  • Life Balance
  • Blog Life/ DIY Mommy
  • Too Much Social Media?
  • Dealing with Distractions

“I get daily hate comments, and they still hurt. I think it’s also important for us to remember that when we say these comments online there is a person on that video that is going to read this. But after the initial string, I mentally work through who the person is and whether you should take the comment literally.”
