Johannes Gutenberg was, amongst other things, the inventor printing press. He is the namesake of the Gutenberg Bible, the first major book printed using mass-produced movable metal type in Europe. But his accomplishments weren’t always recognized in history. For many years credit was given to others and was only corrected after Gutenberg had died.
