We recently explored Nikolaus von Zinzendorf’s awkward path to romance, who married a Christian countess and the two began a Protestant refugees camp on their German estate. It was the start of some serious Hugs From Heaven, that led to “The Golden Decade” and the dawn of Protestant missions.
