Some of the deadliest wildfires on record ravaged California this fall, claiming lives and destroying countless homes. Guesting winds made it a challenge for authorities to keep them contained. More than 5700 structures were destroyed during the blazes, producing as much pollution in two days all the state’s cars do in a year. But with all these images of raging fires, I’m reminded of similar events in Christian history, as well as some Hugs From Heaven that should provide a little comfort for you today.
