It was a weekend retreat for Christian leaders. Following communion, we were invited for individual prayer. I don’t remember having a specific burden, but I was taken aback when asked, “What would you like Jesus to do for you?” Of course, it would have been different if she had simply said, “How can I pray for you?” But this? Well, this felt like I had just been handed Aladdin’s lamp!
