It may be a surprising concept, but prayer is meant to be a two-way conversation. That requires quiet time where we listen for God’s comfort, encouragement, and instruction. Jesus arose early in the morning for time alone with God. In our increasingly hectic, noisy world, we dare not miss this key to serenity and sanctity.
